Description Steering away from the fancy elven armour I decided to go with a thick pair of leather trousers a thick leather shirt and a softer leather tunic belted at the waist, it won't be stopping any spear thrusts but it lets her remain silent as she scouts.

I also dropped the elven scimitar in favour of a more Red Sonja-esque short broadsword and changed out her long dagger for a hunting knife, a new addition is the bearclaw punching dagger she keeps strung around her neck, usually under her shirt... I guess the crossbow is new too, I figured a girl her size would struggle with a longbow so I switched it out :]

Any and all feedback welcome.

[Edit]

I fixed her hair and face a ittle.... made it a png too... jpegs suck ass. Hard.

Hi man!

I'm putting two comic together right now. As well as Total Fear issue 3,
there's an anthology called 'nexion' for underground cartoonists. These
pair of prodution beasts are taking up most of my creative time...

New stuff is inked, will be colouring it soon...

Love the new gear! Reminds me of playing D&D at low levels (in a good way). I like her expression.

Now I'm no elf, but I am a female, and I must say that longbows aren't that difficult to shoot. Crossbows are more size-efficient, though.

Low level d&d is my favourite kind of d&d! :]
I was going by standards of Old English longbows which were notoriously difficult to draw... but I have no archery experience so beyond anecdotal evidence I have no bases for my statement, I apologise if I caused offense even on a miniscule level ]:

Pfft! No offense taken! Sorry if that comment seemed like I was pissed. I really wasn't.

Old English and Welsh longbows are incredibly difficult (150 pounds or more). You can get ones today, though, that only have a 50 or 70-pound pull. I've shot one, and yes, it was pretty hard to pull. Either way, the crossbow can be modified (in fantasy at least) to rapid-fire. They've got quite a few advantages over longbows.

Oh No, I didn't think you were but I wanted to check myself before I wrecked myself anyway incase I did and you were just being too nice to let on. =]

Still toying with the idea of making it a repeating crossbow >:3 OOH! Maybe one of those sweet rotating 'barrel' repeating crossbows from gladiator!
