One November afternoon, I had some time to myself on base. I believe it was after the Thanksgiving Potluck I helped organize. Anyway, I went to the base lake and took plenty and I mean plenty of pictures. I edited this a bit in GIMP, I increased the saturation and adjusted the lighting and contrast levels.

I love how this turned out. It's not very often I have an afternoon to go shoot some pictures and to have a good amount of time to do it too. I should post a couple more pics from the base lake sometime. I took this with my canon powershot A1000, I believe it is. Anyway, I've had this camera for a little over a year now. It's amazing how many pictures I've taken in 2009.
