Description After working on this I came to the realization that emus are basically dinosaurs. I mean, just look at those feet and those crazy eyes, this guy's just an raptor wearing a stylish feather coat.

The texture on this is just awesome! I recall watching a documentary on dinosaurs where they outlined the similarities between Emu and Cassowary and dinosaurs - even their feather type is closer to the feathers they now beleive dinosaurs had. That pose and those feet really bring out those parallels. (And it's only a few genes to turn on or off to get them covered and scales and with a big ol' tail, to boot!)

I say we commission some scientists to figure out how to turn those genes on and off and bring designer dinosaurs to the world! I can just see it now - celebrities toting around compys in their purses, every house with a stegosaurus in the backyard...

Actually, they've already done it with Chickens... but they destroyed the embryos once they developed the traits because of some kind of ridiculous law. :c I think pet dinosaurs would be the new American Dream.
