It started as a random scribble.. it ended quite more detailed than what I expected it to. o_ΓThis is Wikus Van Der Merwe, from the movie District 9. Probably one of the best movies so far since LOTR. Next to BrΓΌno. <3

See, now *this* is a T-shirt design that could sell at the 2010 tourist influx.
....I want this T-shirt too.

I find it better to kind of give it a base color, and then get the more natural color from whatever lighting is in the picture. Lights give different colors on the skin..
With hair/beard, it is often nice to use different colors, one base, and several different shades of darker and lighter hairs.

Cool! I like how you mixed Wikus changing into a prawn with something Sharlto Copley might wear...or I guess probably something Wikus would wear casually too. Even as he's changing into a prawn...
It's a lovely artwork too! Cool!

They are so cool right now...I love the flag design of South Africa, it is really beautiful and colorful.
I tried a version of the SA flag design for one of my characters (South Afrikaner of course) too. I really love how you made yours looked "lived in"-a well-loved shirt!
