I actually have black hair with parts silver now.
We had an interview workshop at school and the person was talking about how we would need to dye our hair black for the interview. I was talking with a friend about how ridiculous that is, that I should just buy a wig then (even though there probably won't be any companies like that in my job field). We went to look at wigs, and I saw some normal colored ones.... but then I saw this and decided Hey, I'm a foreigner. If I argue that this is my natural hair color, they'd probably believe me

Ah, fun with wigs. Wait, dye your hair black for an interview? What sort of interview is this? Although, I'd understand it if your hair was originally black and you don't want to show up with obviously dyed hair. If it's not originally black, though, how would one justify such a requirement?

It's common in Japan for a person to dye their hair black for their interview if they had it another color to show that they're "serious". But yes, my hair isn't naturally black to begin with so that's stupid. Besides, I'm an artist. It's a requirement for me to have crazy hair
