I ask that you keep your critiques to yourselves for now. I'm just sharing my possible third project.
I started on Oliver, but I've run into some technical issues that I can't figure out until I have more experience, so last night I started playing around with Sailor Jupiter instead.
I tried a different way of modeling this time so I could make her look like the official anime version. Ehh.... not sure if I like it yet. Her bangs are kind of tricky to do since her profile shots in the anime make no sense.
I'm making a very rough torso for her, and I'm following the anime's proportions but it's looking quite ridiculous. I'm hoping that once I add color, it'll look more normal.

you wont get experience if you dont acceptΒ critics,the critics most of the time say harsh stuff but is because they can see potential waisted because they dont learn from their errors,and the only ones that points errors are critics.
Im not going to kiss your ass with "it look great,you are makingΒ a great job" i wont do that.
.- It look weird
.- It doesnt resemble the anime
.- The hair seem flat
.- The face has to be bigger
The only good point is it doesnt have jaggy edges

All I said was to get that chip in your shoulder checked out, because you seem awfully hostile for no reason.
Edit Oh, I just realized you commented on both of my models on the same day. Β My bad.

Again, thanks for the suggestions. Β I can definitely see the flaws you pointed out. Β I'm sure the topology was also a mess along with loads of other problems. Β It's really too bad I lost the data, because I'm sure it would have been fun to see how I worked back then.

You can also set the comments to "Please no critiques" instead of "Comment". Edit the deviation to do so.

Dear lord... .A. Not so long ago I was talking with friend that I would love to see Sailor Senshi models for MMD. But not edited from animasa/kio/whatever, but legit ones. And now I see Jupiter... My life is almost complete.

I attempted Sailor Moon for my first model, but she wasn't built very well so I decided to start over... but I know that if I make SM again, I'll never make the other characters so I decided to start with the others first.
