Well here’s the third ref sheet of the dayI’ll probably have a fourth one out today but I have to eat first
I changed Maple’s name like right before posting this because I didn’t really want her name to be Leaf anymore, which is what it originally was
She also used to be fully white with some weird green swirl thing on her cheek? Idk what it was even supposed to be
So then she got the new gold and brown markings she has in the ref sheet, and in a small recent animation thingy I did I gave her some flowers on her head and tail, and decided while doing the sketch that she’s gonna have the gem necklace as well
the green gem in it is from some comic I made of Maple a few years ago, where her mentor gave her the gem. I wanted to keep that in her backstory I just needed some place for her to have it, and didn’t want her to have a satchel for whatever reason
Maple is the only guardian OC I have (other than Gray) that has some sort of written backstory which I why I decided to randomly rant about her because why not
