It seems someone is addicted to my tattoos... This is the third in a series of designs done for the above commissioner. If you have a spare bit of time, wish him luck because he's getting it done this Friday and the tattooist said it would be an all day job (ouch.)
Also, keep a look out because the commissioner said something about posting photos of the finished product!

I personally really like this one because it looks... I don't know, there's this roughness to it I really like. Though, it may look too 'busy' to some people.

I designed the wings first and matched everything else up to it. In my mind, the wings should be able to stand alone. And in a way this was done to go along with the other three, but mostly I did not have that in mind because there was just SO MUCH POTENTIAL. An important thing to consider is the fact that this one is going to be a central back piece. Whereas for arms or watnot there's that curvature one has to think about, backs are like open canvases (that sounds creepy).

That said, my favorite part is the fire shooting out of its mouth.

Two changes in my tattoos:

1. From now on, if I am not lazy, I will be posting the link back to my DA page on my tattoo designs. Mostly because I see them everywhere on Google and watnot and it's just a blank slate. This won't stop anyone from stealing but at least a random person who sees it will know where it comes from.
I will also try to repost all my existing tattoo designs with this link, maybe.... *mayyybe*....

2. If you compare this and some of my more recent works to my older ones, I hope it is clear how my style has developed and become less linear. I could NOT draw the same way I did back then. I think it's changed for the better, and everything just flows more and looks more natural instead of those jutting edges from before.
