From Animorphs book 53: The Answer, by K.A. Applegate. SPOILER ALERT, of course.The Animorphs bomb the underground Yeerk Pool, prompting Visser One to land his Pool ship in the wreckage. It's the ultimate target. As Jake observes the ship from afar, he compares Visser One to a spider waiting in its web.
The ship was modelled in Maya. The bump mapping hasn't been added in this image.
