BACKSTORY!
A black and white foal walked with a heavy saddlebag hugging her back. She looked behind her, and made a small smile for her parents, waving her off with big grins. "Have a good day of school, Sweety Stars!" Cooed the mother. Sweety Stars was't her name. Her mother just liked to call her that. Her father wanted something bold like StarRide. Her mother wanted a soft name, fitting of her personality. So they named her Moon Dust. The father just smiled, and winked a warming, optimistic wink.
Moon Dust kept walking down the dirt road she knew she had to follow, to get to school. The foal didn't know anypony. She was a single filly, and had never gone to school before. Moon Dust was very shy and quiet, not wanting to start anything. But she knew she had to go to school. It exited her, she actually wanted to go. But she would never want to meet anypony that would be mean. Never. She just wouldn't handle it right.
"Oof-" She grunted as she hit something else. The black and white filly looked up, as she had fallen on her bum with impact. "Watch it, will you!?" Came a snotty, high pitched voice. "Look here, Silver Spoons, It's a NEW foal!" She squealed. Moon Dust decided it would be best to stay on her bum for this. "And she's a BLANK FLANK!" Cheered the grey pony, known as Silver Spoons. Moon Dust jolted back, away from Silver Spoons. 'When did she get there!?' She squealed in her mind.
Moon Dust felt it again. She hit the other pony. "EWWWW! You TOUCHED me again! After you were rolling in the dirt!?" She screeched. "S-sorry!" Moon Dust fumbled backward, her school supplies pouring from her saddlebag. "Oh no-" She whimpered, trying to gather them up. But a pink hoof stomped on her note book. "You are SO ignorant," "Clumsy," "DARK." "And DISRESPECTFUL!" The two older fillies jeered at Moon Dust, finishing their sentences for each other. "Please leave me alone.." Moon Dust whimpered, trying to grab the other supplies. But the to fillies started kicking around her books, papers, and pencils. "Please, stop!" She begged, wishing she had never touched the pink pony.
Once her papers were torn and shredded, and her books' spines were breaking, and her pencils were caked with dust, some even broken, the pink filly walked up to her. "Why would we leave YOU alone, your just evil waiting to happen!" She scoffed. "W-what?" Moon Dust's eyes turned wide. "You look JUST like NIGHTMARE MOON!" The purple haired filly laughed in pure glee of being so awful. Moon Dust's heart sank. She looked like the dreaded Nightmare Moon? The filly looked at herself. She was completely jet black, she even had the nebula-like marks on her flank, and her hair was in the same area of the color blue.
Moon Dust felt like crying. But she didn't. The pink pony walked by, her head held high. She whipped Moon Dust's dirt matted face with her curly tail. "Hmph!" Moon Dust watched in sorrow as the pony walked away. Then the grey, furred pony with the silver, braided hair walked up. "Diamond Tiara takes NOTHING from a lesser pony like YOU!" Silver Spoons hissed, and then hit Moon Dust's chin with her hoof, by swinging it upward. "Stupid foal." Silver Spoons muttered loud enough for Moon Dust to hear as she walked away.
Moon Dust just sat there and felt sorry for herself. A white hoof extended toward Moon Dust. The heart-broken filly looked up, tears in her eyes. "Hi! My name's Sweety Belle." Chirped the friendly voice of the white filly with curly, purple and pink hair. Moon Dust looked at the friendly green eyes, and took her hoof. "I'm Moon Dust..." Se whimpered, looking down again. The white filly looked over Moon Dust's shoulder at the destroyed supplies. "You can share with me. My sister went crazy by getting way too many things!" She giggled, wiping some dirt off of the black filly. Moon Dust smiled shyly. To other fillies appeared, one orange with spikey, purple hair, and another one yellow, with red, poofy hair. Moon Dust felt a little bit better. A bigger smile made it's way to her face, nearly wiping out the rest of her worries.
