Description Turbo Charge! The Shockingly Swift Avenger!

"Sonic the Hedge-Who??? what the heck is a Flash?? Quick Silvery?? Never heard of em'! Turbo Charge is my name, and speed is the game!"

Robert Rhodes was a prominent physicist interning his sophomore year of college at the newly constructed Hyperdine Labs Super Particle Collider. As Robert was working on some numbers and figures, he noticed a fellow intern student, Max Martin was tampering with data from a recent test to make his figures seem more correct then they were. Robert felt that he had no choice but to report this to his supervisor. The resulting consequence of this action sent Max Martin into a suspension of his credits and cost him a valuable slot in a future job with work on particle physics.

The very next week, on a scheduled testing of the Hyperdine Collider, Max Martin sabotaged the power output systems, and directing the resulting explosive energy into the study booth that Robert Rhodes was sure to be in at the time of the experiment. Robert began to notice things weren't right with the experiment's energy readouts, and just as he left the protected seal of the room, a massive explosive flash ensued, which struck him and Max Martin with a flood of super collided particles.

The resulting flash of light and energy modified their bodies and accelerated their particles giving them both the abilities of super speed. When Rob awoke, he found himself unharmed but unable to control his body, every time he moved he would move at an uncanny speed, and to top it off he also was able to eject lightning from his body. Robert had absorbed quite a bit more of the energy then Max, and thus began to glow and vibrate at tremendous speeds. Max Martin had also become fast and in a bid to gain himself all that he had lost in his academic life, he vowed to kill Robert Rhodes in revenge, and embarked on his own road of theft and villainy.

Note: As Turbo Charge reaches full velocity he can generate pure electricity from his motion. His helmet is linked to a Super Satellite of his own design and tied to a special super computer which can assist him in trajectory travel routes and detailed building layouts. This special satellite can transmit this data via a subspace link, which moves faster then the speed of light, allowing him to receive the data in real time as he is running at top speeds. His inner helmet view gives him a heads up display and records his body changes.. as he speeds.. .along his arms, fists and boots are mini Tesla coils, which store and amplify the electrical energy generated by his intense body motion. This energy can be directed to his fists and create the ultra knock back power known as the famous static punch! A static charge that he could eventually use to direct at any enemy in another form, the Static Stomp!. These attacks can knock an enemy back or several off their feet at once!

Eventually Turbo Charge was approached by Star Superion and joined the Guardian Legion.

Thanks man! I appreciate your assessment of his design. If you notice he has a "T" going down each arm. I wanted to simplify his look to make it easier to draw over and over again. I feel that is the essence of why comic heroes costumes are so form fitting cause it makes it easier for the artist to keep drawing over and over. I truly believe what the late Jack the king Kirby said, less is more.

Agreed. It's a big part of why folks like Green Lantern, Nightwing, Fantastic Four and even the New 52's Superman are so iconic. You have less of a look to remember than someone like Cable or Bishop who have a bunch of accessories the artist has to remember.

It's worth mentioning you have a really cool style, in line with Jim Lee or Andy Kubert. Detailed, but only just enough to show what really should stand out. I really like all of your designs. If you ever need a writer, hit me up.
