i just saw it recently, and they actually make a point of the fact that he has an arm INSTEAD of an ear... someone says something like ''unharmed'', and he replies with a remark about having three arms, thinking they said ''unarmed'' and the alligator-girl says he can't hear because he only has one ear... he also appeared in last night's x-mas episode, again with a third arm instead of an ear...

Then, again, the Cap'n Skusting Pirate Universe of Fururama Characters, is not equal to the usual Futurama Universe. Heck, I've made Zoidberg successful! LOL!

im not sure what that background is but u did a great job coloring. im quessing those 2 sparkles on hte swords are an effect or did u do it from scratch ?

I've been doing a lot of Futuram fan art since last fall, all of which I
have made the characters into pyrates. I've been using photos I took in Saint Augustine
last year as backgrounds for most of them.
The sword glint I did using the dodge tool on the background, but I should
have dodged a bit off the black line of the sword right in that area as well.

i must say that the third arm coming out of the head sort of caught me offguard, but i do love the style and the unity in color. very well done. love the glint off the sword(s) too

Sewer mutants ^^ I love Futurama! One of the best shows

Raoul's my favorite sewer mutant (and, perhaps, one of my favorite minor characters, period), and he looks, for lack of better terms, kick-ass in this picture. I'd say this looks like something that came straight out of the show, but that wouldn't do you justice. This looks better than the show's art, largely because of all of the detail you put into it. And I have to agree that burgundy does suit him.

Maybe not so much detail as in some of my others, but definately
more detail in the lighting and shading.
I think this is my favorite one so far, with maybe the exception
of Kif leaping at Zapp with mutinous intent.
