Please…no more. I’m now up to, what, seven sets of valentine cards. Every time I think I have the final count down, one of you suggest another character that my mind just can’t refuse.
Do you want these to go on forever?!
If I don’t get these done before Valentine’s Day, the holiday will have to keep going until I finish. Love and affection will be the highlight every day, and with no hatred in the world then all war and malice will cease to exist.
Do you want my RomanceFormers cards to cause world peace?
Before you answer, realize we wouldn’t have YouTube clips like “Racist White guy picks fight with Black guy, Black guy K.O.s racist in one hit!” anymore. Could you live in such a world?
Yeah, I didn’t think so!
(obviously this series was originally posted during February. And yes, the series went WAY past the holiday)

To piggyback from a previous explanation, I had my awesome art buddies, and some random people who I’ve never met before, suggest possible characters to get transfans in a lovin’ mood; remember ladies, you keep polling that humor is your biggest turn-on!

Ratchet: Ratchet received more than a few votes. AND LOOK WHERE THAT GOT US. I was forewarned that there is a phonebook’s weight in hokey “Ratchet says doctorly things and it’s funny cuz he’s a doctor!” fanart. This card invades moral senses, and it broke into the house of the hokey drawing, and shot its dog. If you find a person willing to accept this card, marry them.
Or get checked for STDs.

Inferno: now there’s a character obscure enough to illustrate just for the novelty of it. He looked somewhat goofy with those angel-ears of his. You know, this was originally a cute and innocent saying in my eyes, but since it had the mature button on autopilot, I figured I might as well go the full monty. Like my great grandpappy used to say, “It ain’t true Transformer fanart until you have one of ‘em peeing on people!” Poll: Is the Inferno card the worst thing you’ve ever seen, or the worst thing ever created?
Fun fact: I actually liked Grapple, who was a retool of Inferno. Even though it was for, like, one episode (The Master Builder, be a sneaky YouTube ninja and find it), I profoundly enjoyed Grapple and Hoist (a redesign of Trailbreaker) as ragtag scientists.

Wheeljack: Wheeljack is one of the most surreally designed Transformers.
“I like the design, but how does he talk?”
“His ears.”
“What?”
“HIS EARS ARE HIS MOUTH.”
“Dammit Yoshikawa, boss said if you were huffing cel paint again—”
Despite being one of my personal faves, I was mostly inspired to draw him because an art buddy promised she’d give up her first born to me if I did so. Oh, she may not have explicitly stated such a deal, but I could sense the implication in her keystrokes. It’s a legal interpretative contract buddy, check with Disney! I’m one child closer to my dream of being coach of the world’s first indentured basketball team! Wave to mommy, little Josh, she sold you out for a hump joke! Wheeljack, scientist, needs to show visual aids and graphs for his robotic euphemisms.

So you being the butt of Ratchet’s joke, Inferno’s molester face, and Wheeljack misappropriating his engineering grant, all boost this baby to mature. One down and…STILL two more to go.
