Description fav.me/d7p2b40 UPDATED VERSION HERE************

Based on a story of a game called Killswitch.

It was created in 1989 for PC. The only colors in the game are shades of gray and red. There are two main characters: Porto, a young human woman, and an invisible demon named Ghast. Ghast is clearly superior as he can breathe fire and has a poisonous coal steam attack, but when these powers run out it is extremely hard to keep track of where he is to gauge jumps and such. So Porto pretty much becomes the default. Her ability is that she randomly fluctuates in size, becoming larger and smaller throughout her adventure. This is supposedly caused by inhaling poisonous fumes.

Porto, who works at a coal mine, wakes up in a small room with wounds on her arms. Seeking a way out, she traverses the mine finding clues about why it was shut down. When production slowed, an overseer was assigned to every miner and would insert small knives into their joints when they were working at too slow a pace. Due to her size changing issues, she cannot continue to the top and discovers that she must ingest some raw coke (a product of coal used to make steel or something, lol I dont really know) to return to her normal size.

And as she's about to crawl out of the final tunnel to the overground, the screen flashes white and, by design, Killswitch deletes itself. The game cannot be replayed and all trace of it is removed from the computer. As such you can never play through as both Porto and Ghast. Outraged players complained to the creators, and they responded by saying that Killswitch was meant to be just as unrepeatable and ineffable as real life. As such, the fates of Porto and her "beloved" Ghast would be as unknowable as our own.

As only 5000 copies of Killswitch were manufactured and with refusal to release more, it was incredibly rare, almost impossible to find one. Players who hadn't finished the game tried playing through as Ghast in an attempt to discover hidden secrets, but as it was far past the skill level of any player, nobody really ever claimed to finishing as him. The final copy was said to have been sold to a man in Tokyo. He claimed he would play as Ghast and post videos to reveal the truth of the mysterious demon. But the only one he ever posted was 1 minute and 45 seconds long. He was at the character selection screen. And he was crying.

I've red this creepypasta today, fascinating)) It's hard to believe that this game is real (or at least it was), but jeez, that would've be wonderful if it did! Conception of a girl escaping from an underground facility reminded me of Portal, which is my favourite game. So I guess I just like never existed Killswitch in advance.

If someone had made a fan game of Killswitch, I would play it day and night.  Well, that is if someone put it into a zip folder because if so, once extracted, played once, and deleted, then one could re-extract the game and play it again.

So I recently stumbled upon this legend and have been struggling to find this game or at least find evidence that it, in fact, never existed. I have found a YouTube channel, where a guy posts gameplay videos from time to time, supposedly from this game "Killswitch." Also, I seem to have found .rar file containing game, but when I try to install it or get the game somehow running, it just displays messages like "you don't really want to install me" and so on...
So, sorry for the long intro, I would like to know do you know anything about this game? I mean, is it real, or is it just a haox?

But why would the file not want you to install it that makes no sense.

Coke is burnt coal. It can be reburnt but at a much higher temperature and holds a consistent heat for a longer time.
It's used in the smelting process as iron needs to be 'melted' out of iron ore which requires very high sustained temperature.
It's odd but not unheard of that a mine would include it's own in-house coke ovens as fire in coal mines don't work well together.

Meanwhile, I do rather like your picture, it does set up the opening frame of the game rather well.
