I've had this design for a long time. He was originally a character named "Silver" in a story I had with Bravestar (An old old oc), and I came across his design (back from when my drawing skills were an F) and put it to use? 0:
Based off of a cat picture I saw a long time ago. If I ever come across it again, I'll post the link here!
I'm suPER excited to use him in DMT, and I hope I manage to get the high-rank spot! ; v ;

When/if he gets in, there will be tryouts for Dewdrop and Jaysong! His mother will remain an NPC, though.

My try-out RP sample for Duskkit in DWW;
A small chirp of a bird sounded over the horizon. Soft and pure, the melody echoed across the ThunderClan camp and through the thick oaks and maples and pines that surrounded it. The sky hadn't been this blue in so long--but the kits had no knowledge of how harsh the leaf-bare had been, with snow clouding everyone's field of view and putting weight onto the dens. Maybe that was why they were so heavily reinforced? Not that this was the focus of the day. In the camp, were three squealing little kits, having just opened their eyes and gone out to play in the center of the area. In this little bundle of flailing fur was a nearly black striped-and-spotted male that had his ears flattened to his head.

Tired from his siblings' constant roughhousing and exploring, tiny little Duskkit slipped away from their wrestle pile and backed away toward the nursery. So many large cats were around him; some paying him some attention, others unaware of his existence. His mother was probably fetching some water outside of the settlement. Many factors added up to the nervousness he was feeling. Every mini step of his paws grew faster and faster, until he finally tripped and tumbled backward into the den. The other queens were sound asleep... At least she hadn't woken them up.

Duskkit gave a tiny sigh and scanned the den for his nest; the one he shared with his Mother & two sisters was across the entire place, and it filled him with dread. So many queen tails lie over nests, kits sleeping or playing around them. A kit that was tumbling by nearly took him out; it had to be one of the older kits by their size and build. Scary. His gulped before carefully padding around the tails and through the playings of other kits with mumbled apologies and worried glances. He would be okay. His dark pelt fluffed up every time someone nearly landed on him. It took a while, but he finally made it into the nest.

Extending his dark forepaws up and digging the tiny burr-like claws he had into the bracken and other assorted materials, the runt pulled himself up and toppled into it. It smelt like his mother and warm milk. Two scents that relaxed him. Hopefully his mother would return soon, but for now, he felt his eyes drift closed, and his mind wandered off into a blank state.

The sky hadn't been this blue in so long--but the kits had no knowledge of how harsh the leaf-bare had been, with snow clouding everyone's field of view and putting weight onto the dens. Maybe that was why they were so heavily reinforced? Not that this was the focus of the day. In the camp, were three squealing little kits, having just opened their eyes and gone out to play in the center of the area. In this little bundle of flailing fur was a nearly black striped-and-spotted male that had his ears flattened to his head.

Tired from his siblings' constant roughhousing and exploring, tiny little Duskkit slipped away from their wrestle pile and backed away toward the nursery. So many large cats were around him; some paying him some attention, others unaware of his existence. His mother was probably fetching some water outside of the settlement. Many factors added up to the nervousness he was feeling. Every mini step of his paws grew faster and faster, until he finally tripped and tumbled backward into the den. The other queens were sound asleep... At least she hadn't woken them up.

Duskkit gave a tiny sigh and scanned the den for his nest; the one he shared with his Mother & two sisters was across the entire place, and it filled him with dread. So many queen tails lie over nests, kits sleeping or playing around them. A kit that was tumbling by nearly took him out; it had to be one of the older kits by their size and build. Scary. His gulped before carefully padding around the tails and through the playings of other kits with mumbled apologies and worried glances. He would be okay. His dark pelt fluffed up every time someone nearly landed on him. It took a while, but he finally made it into the nest.

Extending his dark forepaws up and digging the tiny burr-like claws he had into the bracken and other assorted materials, the runt pulled himself up and toppled into it. It smelt like his mother and warm milk. Two scents that relaxed him. Hopefully his mother would return soon, but for now, he felt his eyes drift closed, and his mind wandered off into a blank state.
