Description
Here is my final piece of digital artwork before I must take back my borrowed Wacom.This picture contains the main characters of Chapter 3: Arrival.
At the top of the cliff you have (From left to right) (Unknown), Slavion, Tana, Demos, Nezurick, Luna and Scar
(Scar is from the art and literature of ~8114 )
At the bottom of the cliff (from left to right) you have Eli, Hiccup and Toothless. (Toothless is also known as Fathumure as his Night Fury name.) (I hope I did hiccup right... lol)
Chapter Three will be landing exclusively to DeviantART when I have bought a Wacom.
Enjoy this picture, for it will be the last for a while till I get my tablet.

I was a bit confused by that too... Could call them "the makers" instead though.. Since Humans Harness and control fire, but don't produce it from themselves..

Or they consider what they do more refined (in the petrochemical sense?) than simple fire. :I shoot stabilized hypergolic Hydrogen plasma, not 'fire'...:

Well I suspect that in the mind of a Night Fury, with the Intelligence of a seven year old, they would probably think that it is the essence of life gifted to them by the Trinity when everything was first made, as they observed how burnt lands are rejuvenated with new forest life so quickly... Which makes sense.. As they are worshipped by the monks as gods of the land, they see themselves as special.
So probably, since the Night Fury mind isin't that strong with Human Science, that's what they would do.
After all they and you are right, it's not fire.

You gotta wonder what would happen if one of them exhaled a REALLY big shot. Because, after all, a big load of H+ plasma that exploded on the edges is a compressive environment for the plasma in the centre. It's probably not feasible for the actual animals because what I picture has a REALLY high compression requirement, but...
Compress hydrogen enough (any hydrogen, even about a test tube full) and...

...yeah, any Night Fury relative that evolved the ability to produce nuclear grade dragonfire would quickly vanish from history. Along with their island/mountain/beach that I swore was where the circular crater is now.
Pernese dragons with their teleportation would be able to go Between to get out of the blast zone, though...

In the big stack of HTTYD Loops - some of which I have yet to convert for DA as it's hard - I gave Toothless that inherited ability from a Pern loop. He and Hiccup abuse it quite a lot.

If I can just critique for a sec : I think the only thing that needs to be fixed up with Hiccup is his right hand, which looks a little off. Other than that, it's perfectly fine.

Lol I wish I had points to give to people too, but I'm off buying tablets and need the moneh.
I had heaps of fun doing the colour scheme.. Used the exact colours in your reference.. Little bit confusing tho, one head was differently coloured to the next one so I had fun improvising. But yeah, I wanted to get the scar done well, good to know that I did.
Since he was struck with the whip in the center of his pupil, I figured that it would move with the eye, since it was a literal eye-scar-Scar-thing.
All in a days work... And the final work for a while. Definitely needed him in it. Thanks

His name is Mr. Cook, we call him cookie. He was my maths teacher in year 7 but never since.. He's so awesome, and my friends lucked out because they had him last year.
Still, I had an Indian-Australian for a teacher last year, he was awesome..

Thankyou greatly.. Yes I was very intrigued by the thought of a lot of night furies in one place, since shows the diversity and uniqueness of each of them when you put more than two together.. Also, the thought of how Toothy and Hiccup would come out looking in the end was interesting too. I actually started drawing Hiccup as the first thing in the image, then worked slowly to everyone else. And adding Scar into the mix gave it diversity.
If you look at some details with the characters you can see some of the upcoming storyline there too... But I won't tell, that'll spoil it.
I totally hope I get my tablet... And fast.

They look awesome together. I like the light colored Fury, as well. He/she could almost be a White Fury instead of a Night Fury. Maybe like Arctic animals some Furies can change their coat colors to white during the winter to blend into the snow. Or he/she just happens to be albino.

Most people don't know He.. is actually a She.
Even on mull they think this, but Nez likes it. In the world of Night Fury dominance, being 52 years old and having the scars that she has AND having the physique of a Male... Well they figure that "he could knock the sky down with one blow"... So i'm not surprised that this whole shenanigan, has come out this way, even in the eyes of the audience.
Just to confirm this, she is going to say she is a she sometime in the story...

Interesting. I saw that you referred to her as a female when describing the scars, and something about her attitude when she and Eli met seemed like a tough older female warrior, but the other Furies are referring to Nez as a male

And she also says "young'n" alot, which is a common Elder male saying.. I think she's said it so much when she was pretending to be male to the other Furies that it stuck there..
Besides, she dosen't want male attention, her love was her husband.
Then along came Zaron and well.. They didn't really have a happy ending back at the cave.
She's got a tiny grudge against adult males now because of that, but she accepts Eli because he's 10, and the Elderly love company, especially if it's from young'ns

Oh the other name for Toothless originally, given to him by his parents is Fathurmure. "Toothless" is his Human given name
