I stare at the browns and greys and blacks, generally so flat and drab. I stare at the ditch which beauty perches within. Her head back her back arched her fingers moving in an elegant dancers gesture. I want my hand there holding her up. I see beautyβs face, passive and at rest, the shape of her nose, her cheeks, her mouth; repose. My nature, yes my nature, to desire clarity in each detail, foreground and backgrounds negative spaces. βFILL IT IN AND LET ME SEE AS MY EYES SEE!β I want to scream; but know with a certainty, that had that wealth of information been present in this image that it would fail in its purpose; would fail to draw me to her breast and her belly, to her hip so hidden and to her ankle so gentle.
Would fail to let me follow the line of her thigh curving up to soften and make yield the nature of the walls of that dreadful hungry ditch; would deny me her calf and bare lower leg. Itβs the negative of the ground, the trees so bare and the sky so flat and grey that gives Grace its presence in that drab dreary place.
Once again my Mistress of Arts, your skill and vision are fully on display. Others would have stood her upright, in dance posture; stood her up in settings shadowed or bright lit where the negative was dark and smooth and uncomplicated. They would compose her complete and centered in motion. They might have lain her twisted in a pose of seduction. Your vision gives Grace a complexity, and a much more complex statement; knowing she will rise and take flight only moments away, strong and un-muddied and freed from grey color.
A ten vision in a five world my friend. Thank you for sharing and showing again.

Anytime <3 How have you been? Still looking for an easier way to stay in contact with you and Dani. Been a little crazy lately, but I've got a lot going on atm. Some good, some...well kind of ridiculous, but I'm managing. Could use another voice in all the clutter.

Communication has never been a strong point of mine. I try but I get so wrapped up in my own thing I often forget.
Is it a crazy good or just a crazy? I'm always here to chat with

i need a little time, before offering critique, to resettle my head, and look closely at it as a study in color/value/composition.
