My knowledge of the Roman Games is not extensive. Did they have female gladiators in reality? I know that females were often victims in the games, particularly towards the end, but my only exposure to the female gladiators is from Hollywood.
Anyway, this is a nice piece that captures the style of armor quite well.

Apparently they were a rare occurence, but there is archeological evidence of female Gladiators fighting in the Games.

They were considered an exotic rarity by their audiences. Their existence is known only through a few accounts written by members of Rome's elite, and a very small number of inscriptions. There is a relief in Halicarnassus of two female gladiators. They were called "Gladiatrices" (singular "Gladiatrix").
