Description
That is a 1:1 modell of the Cal. 6mm Seburo C25/ C26 submachinegun from Ghost in the shell. Made out of wood, pins and Paper/Cardboard. The spring for the breech used to be a wire spiral from a spiralbook (weak, but it works). The breech can be cocked and "fired" by a working mechanism in the pistolgrip (like the most SMGs it fires out of an open position). The safety lever is also truely working. The Magazine could be changed an it would realy been loaded in that extreme rear position. The Magazine-release is placed in the Magazine corresponding with the pistolgrip. Sounds difficult...and actually it is, because it wouldn't fit in a conventional style. The problem was, that I had only few pictures out of the Manga and mangaka Masamune Shirow never got too deep in details of the weapon description, so I had to build it mostly out of imagination and try and error. I finished it in the version without stock and wondered who I upgrade it to the version of the serial. In the end, it is a hood put over the SMG. So I can convert it in both versions.
