Taurus usually didn't like surprises, but he was surprised and delighted when he saw who had brought Sonja Page's ransom. He saw her at the Oasis Hotel's annual Lingerie Show, but he had reluctantly decided against renewing their acquaintance. He had planned Ms. Page's abduction very carefully, and he couldn't let himself get sidetracked.

The plan proceeded smoothly. He easily lured sexy brunette Sonja away as she left the hotel's lounge to change into new lingerie. Soon he had her bound and gagged at his rented bungalow. A text message bounced through a thousand servers delivered Sonja's picture and the ransom demand to a very rich and anxious Milton Pitt. Taurus included the threat of sending Sonja's picture--and a video--to Mrs. Page. Taurus demanded the diamonds Pitt had just bought in Stockholm and the gem magnate readily agreed.

A car arrived at the lonely stretch of road Taurus had named. He instantly recognized the sexy blond who climbed out. He ordered her to take off her raincoat.

Smirking, private eye Marla Hott stripped off her rain attire. She struck a pose. Taurus felt himself reacting. She was dressed in the loveliest lingerie, and it suited her so well.

"I thought it was you," she said with a purr.

Taurus moved fast. Bound and blindfolded Marla was quickly driven to the hideout. Sonja was indignant when Taurus brought another woman into his lair. Tied to a chair, she growled curses through her gag as Taurus settled his new captive into a chair. He got out some rope.

"However did you get involved in this?" he asked as he started tying her up.

Marla smiled. "I've done some work for old Pitt before. I was in the show and he came crying to me when he got your ransom note. Didn't want to call the cops and didn't want his wife the bitch to find out about Sonja here. I named my price and he said that he'd pay."

"He should," Taurus declared. He started tying her ankles. "Thanks so much for cooperating."

"Are you in a hurry?" Marla asked suggestively.

"I'm afraid so," Taurus confessed. "Perhaps I'll pay you a call sometime..."

"Well crap," Marla remarked. "Maybe next time you can grab me on purpose. I know that last time was a mistake..."

Taurus sighed as memories flooded his mind. He remembered mistaking bikini-clad Marla for a certain Mrs. Stumpfegger, a German millionaire's trophy wife, and how he learned too late that he had abducted the wrong woman! He quickly prepared to release her and leave her marooned at the remote house until he could get clear, but then she insisted on "making it up to him."

And the night they spent together made losing a million dollars seem not all that bad.

"Yes, that was a mistake, but not a bad one, Marla," Taurus admitted.

"The one time I didn't mind being kidnapped," she told him with a suggestive smile. "Ready to gag me?"
