very innocent. love the expression on her face; she looks shy but also has very powerful stare. I'd say that the lightning makes this photo very special among all other portraits, it makes it more expressive. also, I think that black and white works great here, because nothing should take over this photo but innocence. great job!

I like this photo a lot! Love the way the rays of the sun are streaming in! and the highlights of the hair. When taking photo in the sun like this it is very hard ( at least i have problems with) controlling the exposure of whats not in the sun and I think you have done this great! I do agree with Firefox comments though. nice photo. You might try dodging the eye area, to help lighten them.

This is definitely a cute portrait and I do like it! The expression on her face is really interesting and definitely adds to the photo. It's a great photo in terms of creativity and expression. There's a few things I'd like to point out technically. I'm not entirely sure where the focus is at, but it seems like it's on the earring. In any kind of portrait the focus should be on the eyes, excluding for otherwise creative purposes. Although it's lovely in black and white, there's also a lot of mid ranges in this photo, and it would look really stunning if you were to edit it to have more contrast and be a true black and white. By doing that it might also help brighten up the eyes some. I do realize this girl probably has brown eyes or another dark color, so they're naturally dark. But when taking this in black and white it makes the eyes even darker, so a lot of detail is lost. Nonetheless it's still a creatively captivating photo and you did a good job with it!
