My eyes are drawn from the bottom right up toward the top left of the painting, like a diagonal line from right to left. My sight sort of stops at the top left, but then, as if by magnetic selection, my sight is forced back to the bottom right corner to confront the darker shades there. If the subject matter is the face, I would add a few (Just a few) darker shades around the eye lines (pushing back the shadows in the eye sockets by the nose), around the mouth (inside the surface of the lips), to keep my gaze (the audiences gaze) on the face and not on the corners. (the image seems bottom right corner heavy. balance tones on top and bottom of painting to correct).
This is just my personal opinion. I am not the artist.
Really, you are almost there. The entire painting is captivating.
