Your critics have already done this one justice. I was attracted to look longer when I saw 'palette knife' in the description. I'm interested in what Photoshop can do in that are and have knoocked off many 'sexton blake' palette knife paintings using that filter... and here they are aegiandyad.deviantart.com/gall⦠. These did start out as photos, even this one .

It certainly changed the effect of the original photo. Β I believe Photoshop's version of palette knife isn't true to an original palette knife painting.
Thank you for your comments, fav, watch, and llama

No,it's a bit of a disappointment, especially as you can't make it look authentically impasto, as if on top of the canvas rather than 'seen through it'.
This one is about as convincing as it gets. Not very when you look at all closely. That's why I like to look at real palette knife painting.

Like the detail of the house hidden in background (transmits the feeling of a hidden pace for peaceful meditation).

Thanks, Alice. At first I felt very awkward with the knife but the more I do, it becomes somewhat less difficult. It's always good to hear from you
