It is totally there. In the movie, in the screenshots. Heck, if you watched the Behind the Scenes video on armour by Legacy Effects you'll see the spike clear as day.

I noticed the elbow spike too and somehow in my head I was just automatically like, "that means he's the leader." Yes, brain, elbow spikes signify leadership.
