Remember [link] ? I think my new drawing of Karl looks a little better, don't you think?
He's one of the most underrated actors I know. I mean, first of all his performances are just great (Eomer in LotR, Vaako in The Chronicles of Riddick, Kirill in The Bourne Supremacy and don't forget his characters in the Hercules and Xena series
). Secondly he looks just gorgeous (right, =drumgirl ? 
) and as far as I have read he's extremely kind. Hail Karl! 
This is my first drawing where I mainly used a 2B pencil. The hair is done with 6B, 7B, 8B and 9B pencils (just bought them yesterday!). While drawing I've been listening to classical music. I didn't know it was so relaxing to listen to classical music and drawing at the same time!
Title: song of the band Kamelot. I think (and lots of others are with me) Karl looks like Roy Sætre Khantatat, also known as Khan, singer of Kamelot.
Edit: I have set my "Critiques" to Critique Discouraged because I'm getting a little tired that everyone seems to mention his eyes aren't correct.

OMG this is AMAZING!! I am a recent Karl fan but I also LOVE Kamelot and I keep saying he looks like Roy too!! I'm glad I'm not one of the only ones but wow great job on the artwork

Seriously, this guy is one of underrated actors of our time, I totally agree. He just amps up every movie he's in (including Doom; he makes that movie watchable) and is both a great character actor and action star.
Karl Urban appreciation aside, this is an incredible peice of work. It's just beside flawless IMO.

Okay I by no means draw with pencils, but with my UNTRAINED eyes, the eyes DO NOT look different sizes or anything else. It looks as though you have place one of my favorite men with that half his face in the shadows. Those shadows are playing tricks with the light. As a one time photographer I know how hard it is sometimes to get that angle where the shadows are playing with you and you have caught that on paper wth pencils perfectly. I saw your picture and WOW, I could only wish I could draw better than the stick figures I do.

I totally agree with you. Karl Urban is very underrated and he is an amazing actor. If you have't seen him in the movie Pathfinder ([link] ) you should watch it. =]

Yeah got that movie on DVD 
It's just a habit. I never work on drawings once I called them 'finished'. Besides, it's funny to see the progress. Today I draw better than when I finished this one, and I notice mistakes much faster so I can fix them.
