Description
So that's how my Monday wentI wanted to make it into a little comic because I have spent the last two months worrying about how it was going to go and I've never been sedated before and what if I throw up when I wake up and what if I start saying all sorts of embarrassing things and what if it hurts a lot and what if the sedation is really scary??
But this is literally how it went down and I felt a hundred percent normal afterwards, just a bit tired. Maybe I bumped into a wall when I was walking back to the car. Maybe two or three walls. But I didn't fall, I didn't even feel a tiny bit nauseous, I didn't even say anything embarrassing?? I was fully expecting to get all loopy and GUESS WHAT. It was one of the most anti-climactic events I'd ever had happen to me and I am so glad for that
But a few hours later when it hit me that I couldn't make myself fried egg sandwiches for a week I actually shed a tear
I love fried egg sandwiches.....
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!

Ha! I remember when I had my wisdom teeth. It does happen so fast. When they woke me up, I was like wait you just told me I was going to feel drowsy.

LOLL This is almost exactly how my wisdom tooth surgery experience was! Like 'any drowsiness nope just lights out and then tadah I'm up again!!" xDDD (although evidently I had a minor loopiness episode where I was semi-conscious and trying to follow along to the doctor's orders, but I have no recollection of that at all, so... xD)
I hope you'll get to enjoy those fried egg sandwiches soon, those sound delicious! xD

heh nooooo kidding though the loopy horror stories aren't exaggerated either, my former friend had a loopy tale to tell me right before my surgery and I was like "oh great now I'm worried I'll act like a loon..." xDDD I guess it varies based on the type of personality and/or body you have, like if you have a good tolerance to the medicine...
awwwww well I hope you can have a great big feast once you're safely out of the woods~
I hope it hasn't been too painful for you so far? I actually didn't experience a whole lot of pain personally, but I've heard others say different...

I think it depends on the level of sedation too; my friends got general anesthetic but I was only mildly sedated so I guess that's why I didn't get all weird XD I've been relatively painless for far, but my doctor said that the third day will be the worst and that's tomorrow, so...we'll see how bad it gets!! ;n;

Oh, that's true - I guess I was just mildly sedated(?). idk, but I know my mom and I can be sensitive to stuff like that, so it wouldn't surprise me....
I hope it went okay- I heard the same thing, but that actually didn't really happen for me personally (of course I have no built-up tolerance to pain medication so maybe that was part of it BUT), so here's hoping it panned out about the same for you!! ;w;
