Personality:

Adaptable: Vixie is okay with change and takes it in stride. She is rarely able to be ruffled by a change in plans, scenery, or behavior.

Cooperative: Vixie is far from a loner and is more than willing to work as a seem with fellow survivors to escape a deadly situation.

Optimistic: Despite the dire situation the world finds itself in, Vixie looks at the new day with a bright and positive attitude.

Impersonal: With anyone but Korth, Vixie tends to not get attached to people easily. Maybe it is from growing up with the understanding everyone around her will eventually die or become infecte. This can cause her to seem cold or distant.

Quiet- She tends to not talk much. This is due to being not talking much at the beginning of her life as to not attract the attention of the infected. Even when in safe areas, she is hesitant to speak much or loudly. She is more confident to be more talkative when with her guardian.

Cowardly- Though she tries to fight it, Vixie is a runner, not a fighter. She is one to high tail it out when danger comes lurking, the only exception being if Korth is in danger. Even then, she faces dangers with great hesitation.

Quirky- Vixie is a little.. weird, to say the least. She gets into your space, asks awkward questions when she actually speaks, collects strange garbage.. Some may find her antics uncomfortable or strange.

Passive- Vixie is a follower, not a leader. This goes hand in hand with her cooperative trait, as she tends to always wish to just be in the background and rarely takes much of a place in the spotlight of plans. She isn't one to try to break up a fight or give her opinion unless asked. This can cause a conflict between friends or strangers to escalate due to lack of response from her.

Background:
Vixie was born among the apocalypse. She never knew the feel of a soft bed or the warmth of a fireplace. She was born in an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods to a single mother. Her father, Hook, had died saving her mother from a horde of infected. So here she was, crying for milk from her sickly mother with her two young siblings. Her mother did the best that she could to support the babies, getting aid from passing wanderers and managing to hunt or scavenge measly scraps to keep her milk from drying up. Her brother, Socks, passed away early on due to malnourishment.. When the kittens were old enough to start walking on their own, it was time to start moving again. There was a horde getting too close for comfort and her mother wanted to make sure they had a fighting chance.. They moved around for a few weeks before it happened.. Pearl was bitten.

The kitten neglected to admit what had happened, claiming she had gotten a scratch while scavenging. As the days passed, it was becoming obvious that something was wrong. They had to put her down before she fully turned. Unfortunately.. Her mother couldn't bring herself to do it. She decided they would leave her in the middle of the night and let nature take its course, but this wouldn't happen, as that night, she fully lost herself. Pearl attacked their mother and the noise attracted more infected. Her mother cried out for Vixie to run. So she did.. Alone and afraid, the kitten wandered for a full day on her own, silently crying as she tried to find someone.. anyone.. The only thing left of her family was an old scarf her mother had given her. She soon found herself cornered by an infected fox. As she sent up silent prayers to whatever god may have been watching this unfold, the fox was taken out by another survivor. A dog named Korth. Having taken pity on the young kit, Korth took Vixie with her. Being only a few months old at the time, Vixie soon forgot about her family and the loss she had dealt with and focused solely on Korth and the lessons she would teach her. Vixie became a silent wanderer, rarely speaking. She used her dark form and soft paws to sneak around enemies whenever she could. Death became a normal thing to her, never getting attached to any survivors they came across. Except Korth, of course.

She grew to enjoy the presence of dogs more than cats, since she didn't have much memory of being around her own kind. The duo have managed to survive this long by being cautious of those they meet and continuing to move. Both were and still are in agreement that it is unsafe to get comfortable. Currently, the two have arrived in Tomorrow city.. a new and unsettling territory for them.
