I cannot stress enough how much I love your style. The atmosphere in your drawings is incredible, even without color and in pencil shading. I love the beauty of your lines, really, no line is wasted. I have trouble finding a word somehow, but your drawings seem so calm and...solemn? (Please excuse if it does appear kind of weird to you...it's somehow hard for me to express myself properly in English ;_; ) They are always such a pleasure to look at. The faces are incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and I also love how the hair flows over their shoulders <3

Oh man how you flatter me so! I heard once "There is only one correct line for everything". I think that is what still sticks each time I draw. If I have more than one line I erase and minimise it to one single stroke (try to anyway haha).

Drawing a lot is probably the key, but studying and staying observational does help. You just have to keep going and be sure to look for mistakes always. Thank you for the lovely comment!

SWEET MOMMA THESE ARE SOOOO SOO BEAUTIFUL!! They are just so gorgeous 9______9 The hands, the hair, the faces....GAAH SO PRETTY!! How do you not smear the pencils? Do you just work from one side to the other?

Thank you sweetie! I do the entire sketch first, making sure everything is where it belongs, then I fully render everything working mainly left to right. I also keep a blank sheet of paper under my hand as well. So the sketch starts off like this : i.minus.com/i6LsXCwY7kHWD.jpg , then I start from the left like this : i.minus.com/ib1hNHyJN34sSX.jpg and keep going until I've finished. If I'm working portrait ways, I go from top to bottom. I typically leave the final touches of the faces last though.
