As a child of the wonderful eighties, i love everything from that decade. Also the Knight Rider franchise. Michael Knight was the hero of my childhood and i would like to see him back on screen - but this time on big screen!He comes back, i can feel it *yeah*
I took the original KITT from the DVD promo.

(came out in 1991 with a cameo of "Scottie" from Star Trek TOS)

But that movie was just made for TV and more of a pilot episode for a new show. I want a REAL movie for big screen with the spirit of the original show.

Another great idea of Hollywood
After such idiotic changes very often the movie sux and fails at the boxoffice. For the producers the problem is then not the qualitiy, but the people who simply aren't interessted in the material. And that really pisses me off
We'll see.

Man, I wish. I heard Hasselholf did have a movie in mind, but he couldn't get an agreement with the producers over some stupid fact of whether or not to have Kitt talk. Can you imagine that?

Well, a Knight Rider movie with a non-talking Kitt would be just garbage. That's typically Hollywood - never do a movie for the fans

Yeah, and Revolution studios wanted Vin Diesel to play Michael Knight. I'm sorry, but that's just wrong! Diesel is an ok actor, but he's no Michael Knight.
