oh I didn't pencil it, just inked it in. I try my best with inking. I use to draw for hair salons back in the day for extra cash in college. I just like cartooning more. I should be an inker instead of a penciler . . . who knows maybe thats my calling.

Wow, man! this is awesome! thanx for giving my pencils the inking treatment, especially this. i know how detailed this damn thing is, lol. a few things i notice, tho (and most of it has to do with my not being used to passing my stuff off to other people to ink). i just noticed that a few details got lost in the translation from pencils to inks. like the punisher chick's mouth in the bottom half of the page. it's actually supposed to be closed. and certain areas seem a little muddy in the smaller characters. i think that has to do with the pen u used. don't know ur technique, but a lot of people have critiqued mine and constantly reminded me to get in the habit of using pens with different line weights for heavy vs. fine areas. it gives the inking a more crisp and professional look. sorry for the critique, but when i see a piece that is this promising, i tend to want to see pushed further, lol.
in spite of that, tho, i love the inking on the hair! that is something that i myself have a little trouble inking (especially brunettes, lol). i love drawing black or dark hair, but when it comes to inking it, i tend to blow off the fined-tuned-ness i should have when i get to the inking part. i'm still practicing that,tho. overall, i love it. i'll be posting this on my page with links back to urs. i also tweaked the levels of this in photoshop to make it a little darker. check my page. and thanx again for ur hard work on this, man. my gallery is at ur disposal for any more collabs, lol.

Thanks bro. I know what you mean about the type of inks I use. A lot of pros don't like it when i do it. But once I'm Finished with my works, most can't tell. they just like the finished work. I'm a penciler at heart, so I tend to ink like a penciler. my art is known for the "Hair" details. as seen here: [link] or [link] . both were done using the same ink as with the picture I just inked for you. Overall, I'm an Artist. pros can take it or live it.
I tried, to figure out your details, my bad man. I should have just asked you. Normally, The penciler is sitting next to me when i'm inking. PLUS, I wanted to surprise you, is all. It was fun to do. Funny I was doing one other project while inking yours. But for sure i will ask if I'm not too clear on any more of your pics.
I know it's hard to be a penciler and not have an inker. I'm at that point where i need a colorist. lol but most of all...
