you are welcome Cecily and thank you for the compliments , but i must said that you are , at least , as much an artist as i am ( i am not sure it is good englsh ) each has its own sensibility and centers of interests , i was early focused on wild landscape panorama ( wide lens , low aperture and tripod ) so as autumn colors , not really on flowers , close up ans so on ; a couple of years i move to a place very close to the floral park of Paris , i discover the flower photography , technically the opposite of landscape : macro lens , high aperture to have blur background ( bokeh ) and short time of exposure if it is windy ; your landscape pictures are interesting , especially the autumn colors but i will encourage you to find more subtle light conditions , sunset or sunrise moment ( avoid when the sun is at the highest ), storm clouds ( best lights are just before and after the storm ) , a landscape photographer is a weather forecasts addict (smile ). I am also impressed by your poetic writing facilities ( i could try but only in french )

Bonjour, Pascal! Thank you so much for taking the time to write and offer your insight! I couldn't agree with you more. I'll try to chase sunrise and sunset when I have more time on my hands later in life. Right now, I have to make do whatever the circumstance I happen to be in, and that's why I do flower photography more for the convenience. (By the way, I'm not much of a writer, and definitely can't do poetry.
