~Outside the kingdom~

Martyn put a bandage over Kaeyi’s wound and wrapped Zekkyou’s leg. H then placed his ice cold hand on her face.

“This should help too” A young girl suddenly rushed out of the castle gates.

“Sir! Sir! The guards are looking everywhere for you, and they’re preparing to hang your friend, you have to hurry! They saw you powers before and are prepar-nnggh” She fell flat onto her face into the snow.

“Oops.” One of the guards, now holding bows in their hands,said. The other guards held shields. Martyn rushed over to the girl and pulled the arrow out of her head.

“How could you she’s only a little girl!”

“So what there are plenty of people in the town no one will care. “Martyn stoods up.

“That gives you no reason to hurt her!”He sent a wave of ice shards towards them.Most of the unguarded archers are taken out, but all of the guards with shields still stand. One of the guards charges and catches Martyn off guard and cuts part of his arm. Martyn froze his legs to the ground. The guard started frantically using the butt of his sword to smash the ice.

“I’m sorry to do this but I have to protect my kingdom. That includes its people.” Martyn froze the guard up to the top of his head. Some of the other guards start to go after him but Martyn freezes them in place. One of the guards manages to shoot at Martyn with his bow as he freezes over.

“Gahhh!” Martyn held his hand gingerly before pulling the arrow out.

“Are you ok?” Kaeyi rushed over.

“I’ll be fine I have to get Toby before it’s too late.” Martyn said freezing a blob of ice onto his injured hand.

~~In the town square~~

Toby stood nervously on the trap door below him.

“It’ll be fine, I can get out of this-” Toby felt someone tug on leg.

“Mister Mister. I broke it.”

“What?” Toby said looking down at the small boy.

“I-I broke the redstone. Here, I took this from papa’s drawer. The boy handed Toby a knife.

“Thank you. Now run before they find you”

“Hey! What are you doing!?” One of the guards jogged over. As the boy ran off. Toby put the knife in his jacket pocket and pulled his shirt down.

The guard runs past him, but stops at the man holding a lever.

“Hey! You can pull the switch now. We don’t need a huge crowd here. “ He said motioning to the small group of people gathering around the stage. The man pulls the switch but it does nothing but echo the click of the lever.Toby starts sawing the rope around his hands as the guards work out the problem.
It isn’t long before they figure out the problem and replace the redstone circuitry. Toby is almost done sawing, when they pull the lever. Toby can’t snap the last bit rope and pulls his hands to his neck as the trap door opens.

“nggh!” Toby’s kicks faded as he struggled to breath.
