Martyn threw a row of sharp ice at Toby, cutting the rope, before changing into this normal form. Toby dropped onto the wooden stage, gasping for air, and holding his throat.
Martyn rushed to his side.

"Hurry let’s get you out of here." He grabbed Toby's hand and pulled him to the gates, past the frozen guards.

~~outside the kingdom~~

"You guys are back!" Kaeyi smiled brightly and ran and hugged Martyn.

"Glad you made it. I got word from one of the citizens that the queen is rounding up her guards and are preparing for a full lockdown. The one I prepared, as leader of her guards..." Zekkyou said, still pulling arrows out of his legs, and bandaging up his arms. He sat up.

"We need to get out of here. I'm glad we got your memory back but we can't take on her and her guards."

"I've got my memory back and my powers we can do this."

"But remember what happened last time when you faced her...."

"I'm aware of her powers this time. She caught me off guard last time. Besides, I'm in my element here. Last time I couldn't use my powers."

"Then lets make up a thorough plan for this."

~~ hours later after the sun has gone down~~

"Remember, Zekkyou, Toby, Kaeyi and then me." Martyn sent them off and they made their separate ways into the kingdom.

~~Later with Zekkyou~~

Zekkyou is sneaking around the outskirts of the main walls.

"This better work I’m trusting you Martyn." He climbed the kingdom walls and made his way to the castle walls and started to scale the castle walls. He leaves a rope when he makes his way to the top. He then made his way to the guard towers along the wall and silently knocks out the guards. He stood and waited for Toby to finish his job. Each of the guards in the yard fell one by one, each with an arrow in their head or back. He watched Toby run across the yard and into the castle door. He slipped into one of the castle towers.

“I can hold her until they make it. I’m sure of it.” Zekkyou made his way to the bottom of the stairwell as quickly as he could. He peaked out of the wooden door at the bottom making sure no one was on patrol inside. He crept down the hallway careful not to make a sound. He passed a couple of guards face down on the floor.

"Looks like Kaeyi knocked them out." He said creeping towards the queen's throne room. He slipped inside, behind the throne. He slowly approached her, unsheathing his sword as he did so.

"Looking for me?" Zekkyou spun around. She lodged her sword in the back on the throne, just inched from Zekkyou's neck.

"Did you think I wasn't expecting this? When your other little friends come by they'll meet a worse fate than yours." Her left hand surged with electricity. He blocked her next attack with his sword. It sent a pulse up to his hand, making him drop the sword. He looked up at her, as she went to strike with her own sword. He blocked it with his own hands, and ignored the electric shock in his hands.She dropped the sword and placed a hand on his face. She then put both of her hands on the side of his head and watched his body spasm randomly. His body collapsed onto the floor. There was a faint and low rise and fall of his chest.

"That should have killed you in an instant. No matter." She picked up his own sword and ran it through his stomach. He coughed up a small puddle of blood on the wooden floor. She turned and left him there dying.

"I honestly thought you'd put up more of a fight, Zekkyou. I guess I overestimated you"

"Run in by my own sword... I'm sorry Martyn... be careful."
