Toby slipped into the front wooden doors of the castle. He walked slowly trying not to make a sound. He hooked his bow onto his back and entered the throne room. He cautiously looked around in the empty room for a minute until he noticed the dark figure at the back of the room.
"Zekkyou?" Toby ran to his side. "W-what happened?" Zekkyou looked at him through pale, glossy eyes.
"R-hdhffbg" Zekkyou's words were muffled by the clots of blood seeping from his mouth. His breathing suddenly stopped. Toby backed away from his limp body. Tears were forming in his eyes. He escaped into the hall behind the throne. He caught a glimpse of Kaeyi's blonde hair as she round the corner. He went after her.
"Kaeyi! Kaeyi wait!" He turned the corner and found, the queen standing there with a sword to an unconscious Kaeyi's throat.Toby began shaking uncontrollably. She snickered.

"You mistook my blonde hair for hers and followed." She smiled at him."A fatal mistake." Toby darted off, back the way he came. He closed the doors behind himself and locked them. He stood back as she began pounding on the door. The doors suddenly blasted open and Toby was sent sprawling on his back. He stood up quickly. She walked towards him and, dug her heel into Zekkyou's stomach, making more blood spill from his mouth and wounds. She dropped Kaeyi on top of him.

"I still need two bodies to complete the pile." She glanced at her sheathed sword. Toby took the bow off his back and loaded an arrow. She took out her sword.

“Now, Toby, don’t make this difficult.” She rushed towards him. He shot at her, but each of his shots bounced off her sword. She was getting closer and closer to him with every step. Toby began to panic. He saw movement behind her. Kaeyi was standing up, and rubbing the red spot on the top of her head. Blood was starting to drip down her forehead. Toby blocked the sword that was aimed for his head with his bow. Kaeyi analyzed the situation and grabbed her own sword from the sheath on her back. She cautiously made her way towards Toby and the queen, making sure not to make a sound. Toby’s bow began to crack. He reached for an arrow, but he lost his grip and the sword slipped into his shoulder. He screamed his lungs out as she ripped out her sword along with some of his flesh. He held his arm and winced as the freezing cold air made it sting.

“Wait...” Toby looked outside as snow began to rain down. And despite the pain he was in, grin swept across his face. The queen looked over too.

“What is the meaning of this! They must clean up the snow!” Kaeyi took this moment to attack. She swung at her back. She turned around and moved out the way but not before the blade could catch her side. Blood seeped through her black dress.

"You little-" she raised her hand at her. Kaeyi took a step back as electricity began to cluster in the queen’s hand. A ball of electrical energy flew towards Kaeyi at incredible speed. Kaeyi’s screams echoed throughout the castle. Her body jolted every couple of seconds. Toby took out an arrow from his quiver.

“Don’t even try” She took out her sword and cut Toby across the face. Toby stumbled back. She got close and hit his head with the back of her sword. A bone chilling crack rang out and Toby slumped back against one of the support pillars.

“T-Toby!” Kaeyi reached out with quivering hands.

“I would worry more about myself if I were you” Kaeyi shifted onto her knees. She tried to pull herself up as the queen got closer. Glass shattered on the floor. Martyn now stood between Kaeyi and the queen. His arms were bruised and bloody. He held up his own sword.

“I think you need to worry more about me.”
