Toby saw the man sleeping soundly close to Martyn. Kaeyi, who just woke up, poked him.
“Zekkyou. Wake. Up. ...WAKE UP!” She screamed waking up both boys.Martyn screamed falling out of the tree.Toby bursted out laughing.

“Ow that was not funny” Martyn looked up at the trees moving back into their original shapes.Martyn stood up and dusted himself off.

“Nice going.” Zekkyou smiled.

“Shut up....who are you?” Martyn asked

“You... Don’t... What? You- What happened to him?” Zekkyou turned to Kaeyi.

“He may have lost his memory...” Kaeyi shrugged Martyn climbed up a tree.

“Not this again....can we just get to this kingdom you’ve been talking about?”

“Well, I came to find you, because there’s something wrong with that Queen...”

“That’s why I went to find Martyn. I heard the Queen and one of the guards of the kingdom speaking...” Kaeyi said as she stared off and tried to recall her memories

“Have you discarded the boy?” The Queen asked.

“Yes, my queen, the boy is gone. I sent him adrift on a raft, and he will never return. I’m sure of it.”

“Sure...Sure? IF THE SAPLING KING RETURNS....If he returns he will take my throne, don’t you see that?”

“Yes, but his memory has been erased. He won’t remember a thing. Unless a loyal subject were to betray your majesty, there would be no way he would return, taking the throne back.”

“But don’t you see....The trees will tell him everything EVERYTHING!”

“He would’ve come back by now if they did... His talent may have been erased with his memory. He would have come back by now if it hadn’t, your majesty.”

“Do you question my logic?” The Queen glared. The guard backed away.

No, your majesty. I did not mean to seem that way.” He bowed.The queen waved her hand.

“Guards! Execute him then lock the kingdom down. NO ONE will get in, or out!

“I was listening in that day. I ran as fast as I could outside of the kingdom in search of you... How’d you get out, Zekkyou?”

“I ran after you, but soon lost you.”

“So I’m supposed to know this guy too?”

“Yep. I’m a knight in charge of half the kingdom.”

"We’re close to the kingdom..." Toby, Kaeyi and Zekkyou follow Martyn, who traveled by trees, by foot. They soon all arrive at the kingdom. The mossy stone walls were covered in barbed wire, with guards marching across the top. The main gates were sealed off with four guards guarding them.

"So this is mine?" Martyn whispered trying to peak over the top of the wall.

"Yeah...What’s left of it anyways" Kaeyi said.
