The guard narrowed his eyes at Martyn.

“It’s him... Tell the Queen he his back”

“W-what?! Let me go! LET ME GO!” He struggled and started squirming.

“We have to get him back!” Toby quietly screamed. He brushed his hair out of his forehead. The guards carried him off towards the large castle. Martyn kicking and screaming the whole time.

“We HAVE to get into there!” Kaeyi said while peeking around the corner.

“HOW?”

“Uhh...”Zekkyou scratched the back of his head.

“Great...Just great!” Toby said, throwing his hands into the air. They suddenly hear screaming coming from inside the castle walls.

“Hurry! Rush in with the guards!” Kaeyi said scrambling in with the group. Zekkyou grabs Toby and Kaeyi’s hands and drags them on of the abandoned towers along the castle walls. They watched as Martyn was dragged towards the main doors, by 4 guards trying to hold him down

“What do we do?”

“I’ll distract them...” Zekkyou stepped out onto the path leading up to the castle

“Hey! What are you doing with him?” Zekkyou yelled as he jogged up to them.

“T-the q-queen wants to s-see him.” The guard, who was struggling to keep a grip on Martyn’s arm, said. Zekkyou looked at him in disbelief.
“Were you not listening to her orders?!?”

“These are h-her orders!”

“Are you deaf? The queen clearly said to bring him to the dungeons until I were to bring him to her!”

“You heard him. To the dungeon!” The guard yelled at the others.

“Good. Now I want you to make sure you listen before taking orders from the queen.” Zekkyou order.One of the guards lifted Martyn up, held his arms down, and slowly walked over to the dungeon entrance.

“Thank you for the clarification sir!” The guard saluted.

“YOU IDIOT!” Martyn screamed at Zekkyou. Zekkyou gritted teeth

“Shut up!”

“Will someone shut him up?!?” One of the guards yelled. On of them shoved a white cloth stuffed in his mouth.

“Martyn’s going to kill us...” Toby said as he came out of hiding, when the guards left. Kaeyi giggled

“This is no laughing matter. Martyn is in serious danger. So, now we need to get Martyn, and get him out of the kingdom before the Queen sends more orders.” Zekkyou started pacing around.

“Yes, then we somehow take the kingdom back...” Kaeyi said. A little boy comes out from his home and tugs on Toby’s pant leg.Toby looked down at him.

“Hello there...” Toby smiled at the, what seemed to be 7 year old boy.

“W-was t-that really o-our king?” He whispers with a small voice.

“Yeah...” The boy, with a gleaming smile on his face, ran back into his home.

“Mommy! Mommy they said he’s back!”

“Oh, no... I think this is going to end up in a bad way...” Toby whispered to Kaeyi and Zekkyou. There is a low mumbling as the people slowly come out of their homes.

“Or something good...” Zekkyou said motioning to the crowd of people.

“For our king! We are SAPLINGS!” The boy screamed in his high pitched voice.

“SAPLINGS!” The people behind him yell, holding up their pre-made makeshift weapons.

“We may have started a revolution of saplings....” Toby chuckled nervously. All of the guards come out, of the castle, to see what the commotion is.

“Quick! In there!” Kaeyi pointed to entrance of the castle.

“CHARGE!” The crowd yells in unison. The people start running toward the guards guarding the castle. Kaeyi, Toby, and Zekkyou weave through the crowd and manage to reach the castle.

“Hurry follow me” Zekkyou started heading around the side of the castle, towards the dungeon entrance. They open up the wooden door and peer inside. Toby goes down inside the dark damp room. He spots Martyn sitting in a small cell with a cloth in his mouth and his hands bound behind his back. Zekkyou took a key and opened the cell door. Martyn looked up at them. “Mmhmmmmhmhmhmhhm” Kaeyi took the cloth out of his mouth.Toby took the key from Zekkyou and impatiently unlocked Martyn’s cuffs.

“I thought you guys left me.” Martyn said rubbing his wrists.

“No, we were trying NOT to get caught.” Zekkyou said with a hint of sarcasm.

“Let’s get you out of here... The saplings are starting an uprising” Kaeyi said helping him up.

“Saplings?”

“The people of the kingdom.” Toby explained.

“Oh, ok ...let’s go, come on!” Martyn ran out the exit and saw all the people crowded outside.

“There he is!” Everyone turned and knelt before Martyn. Martyn backed up a bit. A couple of the children ran up and hugged Martyn. They all soon begin to crowd him.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa !”

“Saplings!” Zekkyou yelled. They all turned and look at Zekkyou.

“I’m sorry to do this, but we must get Martyn out of the kingdom before the queen comes after him!” They started mumbling before they part, leaving a clear path to the exit of the kingdom.

“THERE THEY ARE!” A guard yelled from one of the castle towers

“You have to hurry they are coming” One of the saplings said to him, before ushering him onward.

Martyn nodded and started running with Zekkou, Toby, and Kaeyi behind him.Martyn turned around as he reached the end of the crowd and saluted.
The saplings bursted into cheer.

“Martyn you brought something” Toby said pointing down at the little boy clinging onto Martyn’s leg. Martyn looked down.

“You have to go home little one” The boy shook his head in disapproval and gripped on tighter. He peeked behind Martyn and saw the Queen and instantly lets go and scrambles into the crowd.
