Martyn whipped around to see the Queen with a couple of guards behind her. His heart sunk into his stomach

“H-hello madam”

“Don’t play innocent with me” The Queen crossed her arms

“What are you talking about?” Martyn said nervously.

“Guards ready the stocks and the trap doors. Tomorrow, public execution. Especially you” She pointed at Zekkyou.

“I trusted you to be my head guard”

“Well, you trusted the wrong person.” He said unsheathing his sword.

“Guards seize them!” The Queen yelled.

“Where have I seen this?” Martyn said slowly backing away.

“Martyn, I need you to remember! Please!” Martyn backed into a tree, the forest all started whispering to him all at once. Martyn froze as he regained his memory.

“Y-YOU! ,...Kaeyi!,..Zekkyou!...” Martyn’s eyes lit up as he stepped into the frost covered grass outside the kingdom. The Queen stepped back.

“He remembers grab them!” The guards pick up Kaeyi, Toby, Zekkyou, and throw them onto their shoulders. They soon start to corner Martyn.

“Martyn, give up already.”

Martyn smiled and pointed at the guards, sending a blizzard of snow towards them. The guards push past the snow towards Martyn. Martyn threw his arms down, sending shards of ice at them Guards dropped Zekkyou as an ice shards wedged itself in his hands.

Zekkyou picked up his fallen sword and attacked guard holding Toby.

“Retreat! We can take these two for now...” The Queen glared at Martyn. The guards run back into the kingdom with Kaeyi and Toby.

“And make sure his friends pay...” She called to them. The guards lock a pair of cuffs around each of their hands, as they brought them past the main square. The main guard dragged them towards the dungeon. Many people yelled and tried to attack the guards but their pleas were futile.

“The boy will stay here the girl shall go first. Remember we can’t kill her. Now take her to the stand in the square!”

“Don’t... don’t hurt her!” Toby yelled at him. The guard slammed the cell door in Toby’s face. And walked off with Kaeyi. Toby flinched and looked at Kaeyi and whispered.

“I’m sorry” Toby watched as Kaeyi was dragged away.
