Rythian woke up later. There was a heavy weight on his chest, keeping him from moving. He looked down slowly to find a bundle of soft red hair resting on his chest.

”Zoey” He thought to himself. He quickly looked down at his arms and found them wrapped up again, he feel another piece of cloth over his mouth as well. He looked around the room carefully, as not to wake Zoey. Teep sat diagonally from him in a chair. The dinosaur smiled and winked when Rythian asked if he’d kept him covered from Zoey. Rythian took in a deep breath and sighed. Zoey’s breath hitched and she sat up quickly.

“Rythian!, oh my gosh Rythian! YOU’RE AWAKE AND ALIVE!” She yelled pulling him into a tight hug. Rythian winced, making Zoey let go.” Sorry I was excited and-”

“I’m glad to see you too.” Rythian sat up and hugged her tightly, ignoring the flaring pain all over his body. She gingerly wrapped her arms around him.

“You were gone for months. Y-you had me worried that you…something might have happened…” She whimpered. “Teep kept my hopes up though and told me that you were a tough ender mage and would be fine. He found you just yesterday after we saw the smoke in the sky. He went to investigate and found you in a pretty destroyed area. “

“Oh… yeah there was …a lot of mobs there and it was hard for me to fight them off but I did it.” Rythian smiled weakly. Zoey looked at him, doubtful of his explanation, but smiled.

“I’m just so glad your home. I can’t wait to show you everything RINGO HAS NEW FRIENDS! A-And Teep made me some more golem friends! And Ravs has partied on the weekends so we can party with the testificates. And…” She put on a big toothy grin and Rythian couldn’t help but chuckle at her beaming happiness as she went on and on about things to show him.

“OH!” She stopped and pulled something from her pocket. “Teep found this next to you and I kept it safe. I tried to fix it but it didn’t work too good.” She placed a small object into his hand. Rythian rubbed his neck as he looked down at the endereye charm. A large crack ran down the middle and was held together by a thin layer of hot glue. Rythian could hear the voice in his head chuckling but ignored it and put the charm on.

"Thank you, Zoey” Teep grunted from his corner. “And thank you to you too, Teep” He chuckled. The dinosaur grinned and sat next to them. Zoey started to ramble on and soon Rythian fell asleep with the worries of letting his guard down could be. Zoey smiled as he slept and covered him up.
