Xephos looked up at the blonde scientist strapped to the dolly. He thrashed around violently trying to free himself. Xephos rolled him up to a small machine, with what seemed to be a thousand wires coming out of it and unlatched the door. He turned his attention back to his friend.
"If you'd stop squirming this would be easier." Xephos smiled. Lalna flipped him off. Xephos took out his sword and cut the straps holding Lalna down, and then quickly shoved him into the tube before he could react.
"I'll kill you!" Lalna yelled when he was finally able to speak. Xephos managed to trap one of Lalna's hands in a metal cuff that was attached to the inside of the machine.
"Come on stop struggling. I can finish this test faster." Lalna kicked at him as he tried to free his hand. "I didn't want to do this." Xephos walked to the side of the tube and punched in a code into a number pad. Lalna felt the cuff tighten.
"Ahh.. What is this?" It pinched his wrists. Lalna pulled again and it tightened enough to draw blood.
"Every time you try to move it tightens and tightens until it severs your wrist. Now, if you will, slowly get inside." Lalna took a step inside and Xephos locked his other hand down, he then pulled a metal bar that went over his forehead. "There we go." Xephos smiled and closed the door.
"Screw you!" Lalna yelled and kicked at the door.
"I would use one of Honeydew's clones but they all kept dying after one injection." Xephos went around the side and put in his code again, loosening Lalna's wrist. He could hear Lalna cursing at him from the inside. He called in another scientist from the other room. They stood in front of the machine the squirming scientist was in. Xephos pressed a button on the front and watched as needles from the sides slowly made their way towards him. Lalna squirmed around, as he looked for a way out.The needles found their way onto his skin. He stopped moving now and lay slumped against the metal plate. They injected a green liquid into his skin. Everything was quiet on the inside and out. Xephos noticed Lalna suddenly begin to twitch.
"Gahhhhh! Get me out of here! AHHHhhhh!" Lalna glared at Xephos as he tried to break free. His left eye flickered from green to red, while his other one turned gold.
"What the hell?" Xephos said as he stepped closer to get a better look. They both suddenly changed back into their normal green and his body hung motionless in the machine. Xephos turned to the scientist next to him.
"Your clones aren`t doing very well either."
"I'd really appreciate it if you'd stop using clones of me in your experiments, Xephos." Lalna said as he write down notes. Xephos chuckled and pressed the release button on the machine. The clone inside kicked the door, shattering the glass. He ripped his arms free and wrapped his fingers around Xephos' throat. Xephos tried to pry the clone's hands from his neck.
"L-Lalna!" Xephos choked out.
"That would be Lalnable to you." He said, his eyes lighting up a golden yellow, as he took off his goggles. The clone pressed his thumbs deeper into Xephos's throat, cutting off his airways. Xephos let out one more struggled cry before the light slowly,and painfully faded from his eyes.
"Livid, glad to have you back." Lalnable bowed.
"Good to see you too, Lalnable. How did you get out your cage." Livid said as his eyes turned a dark red.
"Stabbed the scientist that was in there with me." Lalnable chuckled."Now where is the original?"
"He's in the cloning labs.He loves to mess around with the DNA." Livid said as he grabbed Xephos's sword from his sheath.
"Clones...unlimited human lives." Lalnable smiled.
