My soul thrives in climates below zero.I don't know why I like it here...
I don't belong.
I have a home.
I have a shelter.
Legitimate smiles define my face,
yet I find beauty in being cold and alone.
I am not cold.
My heart burns bright with the light and love of God.
I am not alone.
I am never alone.
Perhaps beauty is found in what is absent.
"I want what I can't have."
Or perhaps pain is never absent...
Only masked by those of us who don't want others to see us cry.
