Heavy board dump, coming your way!A few snippets I boarded for "The Finish Line - Part 1", done with Toon Boom Storyboard 2 back in 2014.
Some heavy thoughts were put into the last two episodes, since they are meant to conclude season 1 and foreshadow 2. We did not want to cut corners; however, we were already on a tight deadline so a lot of editing had to be made. We identified shots that weren't economic to our schedule - since those take a lot of time to animate, render, simulate and comp - like crowd shots, and replaced them with angles that would still imply its intention. Example of said scenes are the ones in the red box below. However, we do leave some heavy shots alone, depending on how important it is to set a certain mood.

Though I must note, Kings mustache is almost impossible to spot on his face when he is in 3D on screen.
