Description His smile cracking into a wide grin, Lorcan turned his back to Matt towards the kitchen. Grabbing something from behind the counter on the way, he flinged the black object backwards. Whacking Matt off the side of the head gently was a wrapped black vest, tie, and pants.

"Be sure to come here tomorrow morning, 10am. We can talk about your pay and schedueling then."

Smiling sheepishly, Trey turned to Matt, walking around the counter beside him. "You can always back out if you don't wanna work here. I completely understand," he said dramatically, "Lorcan can be a pain to deal with...."

"Ah, nah it's cool. I'll give this a try cant be to hard if you can do it." Matt chuckled, preparing to be smacked once again. "Wanna get a soda?"

Trey smiled with relief. "Heh, yeah, that' be great. Anything to get out of here."

Leading the way out the front door, the two of them exited the cafe. "So, it's cool seeing you here- but why are you wasting your last summer getting a job?"

Matt stared up to the sky, day dreaming eyes looking lost in something only he could see or hear. There was only a small moment of hesitation in Matt answering his best friend, "Logan waited to get a job, figured I'd beat him out by getting one at least a year before he got his first~" Instantly feeling triumphant over his brother.

Shaking his head Trey untied his tie and took off his vest so the summer heat didn't get to him. "Why are you and him always so competitive? Not that it's not amusing, ha, just seems pointless," he said as he watched Matt bend down to a pair of skates.

In a few swift moments, expertly practiced even, Matt went from sneakers to the skates. "Ya know, I cant say but I wont be the one to change it. Means he'd win." Stuffing the shoes back in his small backpack.

Looking up to the sky with a half smile, he replied, "Yeah, alright then- you have time to chill or are you busy? I was planning on heading to the cove by your place?"

Trey really hadn't planned on anything, but now he had a chance. He'd only been outside of school with Matt maybe once or twice since they've been friends and this would be their first summer together. And Matt was working at his work- thankfully he sounded more relaxed than he felt.

Matt tossed up two thumbs up "A great adventure, lets do it~!"

Grinning, he threw his vest and tie over his shoulder and smiled. "Lucky you, you've got skates," Trey said, moving in and out of a running pose, "Any chance I can get a head start?"

Blinking, Matt had no idea to even begin responding to him at this point, thus he ramained looking utterly cluess. Nothing new to his freind. "Want to borrow my backup pair?" patting his bag, stuffed with skates, socks, and spare wheels.

Becoming still, his face was blank for a moment until he had to look away from Matt laughing. This is what he always liked about him- he can always be myself, no need to over masculinize things...

"Sure, that'd be great," Trey replied, moving beside him.

Chuckling, Matt dug out the other pair, showing pride in their good shape. "If you want, out of the kindness of my ever wonderful heart," Matt grinned, laying on the theatrics of his tone very thick. "You can keep my beloved skates~"

Feeling his face start to turn red, Trey let out a burst of laughter as a distraction. "Your offer is very gracious," he said just as dramatically but through laughter, "However... are you sure I'm ready to weild such power?"

A serious, or as serious as possible, expression took Matt as he faced Trey, taking each shoulder in hand. "The question is not, are you ready. It is. Are you willing?" Taking a moment of intent staring before breaking into laughter.

Joining in the laughter again, he could feel tears in his eyes. "Oh, I think I am," He managed to say as I took the skates in hand.
