Description Monsters vs. Aliens: The Rematch

General W.R. Monger: As we speak…Escargantua…is slowly…making its way to Paris…

Looking at her friends, Susan Murphy aka Ginormica, smiled at hearing that there was another issue to resolve in the one place she was dying to go to. Her friends, Bob, the blue goo monster, the amphibian creature The Missing Link, and the mad but sophisticated scientist, Dr. Cockroach Ph.D, all glanced up at their friend with looks as to what she wished to do next.  Though, it was quite obvious to Susan what her decision would be…

Susan: …Well…I’ve always wanted to go to Paris…

The Missing Link turned to his good friend, Insectaurus and rubbed the edge of his nose.

Missing Link: Well…what do you think, Butter…fly…asurus??

The gigantean creature called out to his friend in which the Missing Link nodded his head.

Missing Link: You can count us in!

Bob: I’m in!

Dr. Cockroach: You can count me in as well!

With that, the group gathered on top of their now winged friend, Insectaurus and flew off to their destination…suddenly…as if they’re very actions were being recorded and watched…the group rewinds to when they were still inside the ship. The video plays out as Gallaxhar’s plot to take over the world has been stopped.

Gallaxhar: Ooooh…spaceballs!

The film continues to rewind further back to the moment where the President listens in to Gallaxhar’s threat.

President: …Boys…set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants.

The film continues to rewind further back to when Bob nearly suffocates Susan’s mother.

Susan: NO! Bob! That’s my mother! You’re suffocating her!

Bob spits out Susan’s mother. She stares blankly, wondering just what happened exactly.

Susan: Sorry mom…he’s a hugger…

Susan’s Father: …Are you ok, hunny?

Susan’s Mom: …I taste ham…

The film rewinds again, this time to the point where Susan sad about being captured.

Susan: I don’t want a poster of a cat; I want a real cat, hanging from a real tree

General: Don’t think of this as a prison, darlin’. Think of this as a hotel that you can’t leave because the doors are locked from the outside…oh and by the way…the government has changed your name to Ginormica…

The film rewinds one final time to the moment that changed Susan’s life forever. It was the morning off and dear Susan Murphy was to be wedded to Derek Dietl, the local weatherman.  Taken like a prisoner in her own home, her loving friends took Susan out to get herself ready for her big day. Susan was your average girl, with a rather healthy and good build and short brown hair. She wanted to have someone to love and conqueror the world together with all of its challenges. In her mind, she thought she was on top of the world and truly believed she had found just the right guy. She couldn’t help but think of all the wonderful things she was going to do with Derek as her friends babbled on and on about how romantic it was that she was getting married. All Susan could think about was what it would be like in Paris. Suddenly…Susan bumps into a young man with a rather similar build as herself. He wore a blue jeans and a black t-shirt. Over his shoulder, Susan couldn’t help but notice that the young man was carrying a guitar over his right shoulder. The young man was a bit thrown off by this sudden encounter as he too had his mind elsewhere. He and Susan gazed at one another for a moment, finding themselves getting lost in each other’s eyes. This continued for a few minutes before one of Susan’s friends stepped in.

Susan’s Friend: Watch yourself!

Young man: R-right…

The young man, between 24-26 years old, put two fingers to his head and saluted the women as they went on their way. The young man continued walking along the side streets until he finally came to a large sign reading “Tony’s Bar”. He entered the bar and sat down at one of the many stools. The bartender walked over to smiling.

Tony: James…long time no see…what can I get ya?

James: Skim Milk…

Tony: What the…Skim milk? You come to a bar and order SKIM milk?

James: …Find…whole milk

Tony: That’s more like it…

Reaching underneath the counter, Tony poured James a glass of milk. James grabbed the glass and chugged it.

Tony: What’s the matter, James? You seem kinda down in the dumps! …Did you not win the guitar contest?

James: No…even worse. There wasn’t even a contest. I went there, thinking I might have a chance but the friggin place got shot down before I even knew it. The guy out front said I can blame it on the economy. …Guess that might be true. I couldn’t even get a job at the Happy Burger…you wouldn’t happen to have anything, Tony?

Tony: …Well…I don’t necessarily have a job opening…but I do know someone who does. My good friend Seth is need of some very serious help…but uh…tell me something…you ever killed somebody with a carrot?

James: HUH?

Tony: N-never mind…forget I said anything….look James…just cheer up ok. You’ll find a way to get some money…

James: Face it…with the way things are now…I’ll never find a job. My luck lies now with the heavens above…

James finishes up his glass of milk and then began to reach into his pocket to pay Tony for the drink.

Tony: Don’t worry about it, James. It’s on the house…take care of yourself, James…

James nodded as he headed out the door of the bar. Walking sadly along the sidewalk, James decided to leave behind civilization and walk into the park woods, finding himself walk further away from civilization. James continued his walk onto the grassy hills, hoping to walk off this state of depression.

All the while, Susan gazed out into the beautiful view in front of her as she stood in her wedding dress, happy as she could be. She whispered to herself “I love you too” after her soon-to-be husband, Derek, halfheartedly spoke those same words. After talking with her husband, Susan found herself lost in her mind, thinking about how much her life would change after this day.  She also began to ponder if her husband was going to continue changing his plans on her and do things only for himself. She shook her, not wanting to believe that her dear Derek would be that way. She started to feel head becoming heavy and subconsciously lowered it to better her thoughts. While thinking to herself, she could hear the sound a guitar’s strings being played.  Gazing around the field, Susan squinted to find the same man she had bumped into earlier, sitting back and playing his guitar. She watched as James strung his 6 string electric guitar that was colored black and white, much like the Yin and Yang symbol.  He continued to play it for awhile before getting tired and got up from the ground and took his time to walk back into civilization. Susan tilted her head, taking note that something was wrong. To Susan, the young man seemed rather upset. Gently biting down on her lower lip, she decided to take it upon herself to call out to James.

Susan: You sound really good!

Looking up above, James noticed the short brown haired woman in her beautiful white wedding dress gently waving to him. Nervously, James smiled and nodded back, looking away from Susan frantically and pushing up his eyeglasses. Susan, taking note of this man’s nervous smile waved back to her before hearing something thunderous in the clouds above. Looking into the skies above, Susan gasped at the giant meteorite that was careening straight towards her. Looking up while he continued to run, the young man’s eyes were fixed at the giant meteorite that was on a collision course toward Earth...more so…directly on top of the woman in the dress. He tripped on a small branch and fell to the ground, falling to the ground as Susan desperately trying to get out of the way of the meteorite. Unfortunately for her, the meteorite crashed to the ground, incasing her inside the meteorite. The meteorite glowed a bright green color that seemed to slowly disappear as the young man quickly raced over to the meteorite. Just as the dim green light had almost completely vanished, the young man spotted the woman through the now misty green and reached inside. The green mist felt rather cold against his bare right arm. Susan, in the middle of the meteorite, sat in a fettle position, rocking back and forth nervously.

James: Hey…hey can you hear me? Can you move? Are you hurt at all?

Susan nodded her head as she muttered to herself incoherent nonsense to the young man.

James: …Look…you’ll be ok.    Just…just grab hold of my hand…ok? You’ll be fine…I promise…

Susan, now paying attention to the young man, turned her head and nodded. She reached out to the young man’s hand and allowed herself to be pulled out of the meteorite. Susan took deep breaths as she tried to collect herself. The young man looked at the meteorite with wonder and amazement as Susan continued to gasp for air. She looked behind her and stared at the giant meteorite. Feeling her head getting light she fell backwards and began rolling down the hill. The young man, still gazing at the meteorite, did not even notice Susan falling.

James: …So…that’s one less way the world could have ended…say…are you…? HUH?!?

Finally noticing Susan rolling down the hill, the young man chases after Susan, only to trip once again and roll down the hill. Falling down the hill for about 5 minutes, Susan finally reaches the bottom. Upon reaching the bottom, Susan regained consciousness, only to have the young man roll on top of her. Quickly getting up, the young man extended his hand again to Susan. Allowing herself to get picked up, Susan blushed embarrassed and frazzled by the man who had helped her to her feet not once but twice now. The two gazed at each other blankly.
