It put a heavy impact on her- causing her to somewhat see her sister's honest behaviour to be the cause of the event. After so, she was less genuine with her mother, Lady Enya. And often holds back her petty attitude.

BACKSTORY

Puppy
Dere was born along with three siblings. Rouge, Salem- and the heir, Artis. All three pups were raised by Enya, the Lady of Taiga. Beside them, their cousins were growing up. Melody and Requiem. Dere´s aunt passed away- and the group spent their months together. Enya had her hands full of puppies. Overall, Dere did not experience much as a puppy. Soon as she started to understand the hang of the world, the rules became more solid- which was something she had to follow. Of course, she had no issues following simple tasks and requests. In fact, the straightforward order made Dere love Enya. To her, having these sets of rules made her life more direct. Due to this, Dere felt rarely confused.

As any puppy, her life was surrounded by herself, and she did not pay much focus to her siblings. Once when playing roughly with her brother Salem, she was not paying attention- which resulted with being hit in the head. Unsure whether it was a sharp twig- or Salem´s paw, Dere had a scratched nose. Later turning to a scar across her muzzle. This made her carefree playing more gentle, and overall she stopped being as rough. Still, there were no hard feelings towards her brother- as it was not on purpose, and the scar looked tough.

However, who she DID develop hard feelings towards was her cousin. Melody, who was a month older, tended to not always come hand in hand- which
resulted in the start of their rivalry.

Juvenile
Most stay the same as she ages. However, she starts to dislike some of the rules- and feel like her siblings and her are getting treated ¨rougher¨. She would realise later with age that it was actually fair treatment - and that Enya simply did not put up with nepotism. Along this, Dere started learning the wider meaning of being a wolf of Taiga-and that Artis was to be heir. Often hearing words of this around the pack- but never gave it much thought. It seemed like a great honour. Dere was genuinely happy for her sister- and supported the idea.

Nonetheless, things were not always sunshine with the small squad. This resulted with Salem naming Dere ¨Sparrow¨ as she argued with Artis. Due to her fast twittering during the disagreement, he said she was like a small bird who refused to stop. This caught on, and now ¨Sparrow¨ was reacting to both names. Though, it was not a name she was fond- and will introduce herself to strangers and respected wolves as ¨Dere¨.

Becoming an adult threw much into perspective. Over the months, Sparrow got closer with Artis. More so than with her brothers.

Coming of age
Sparrow was highly excited for their pack´s ritual- and so were her siblings. Of course, she was surprised when the Alpha decided that each will only have the company of three wolves. Dere was slightly upset about it- as it felt unfair. To her, it seemed for a moment like she wanted them to fail- but with a moment she decided to try and impress the alpha. This could be an absolute win.
Leading the hunt, Dere had already hyper fixated on the plan. She was excited enough to swallow her pride after Enya received a form of ¨special treatment¨. Was she annoyed? Most likely. The rules were always there- but this one felt more like a scold. Not letting it distract her, Dere led the hunt. Goal was a deer. Big and fast enough to impress…

Shortly after, the small group returned, proud of herself- Dere received a rank of Delta.

YOUNG ADULT
After gaining a higher rank, not much had changed. She still was no fan of her cousin, her brothers were still not as close to her as her sister was… overall, life was good. She felt proud of herself.
This starts off by giving her an attitude of a higher power. The events and traditions, made her more aware of the hierarchy- giving a feeling of being the better one. Though she was obnoxious to it.
As things went on, an unexpected event came through.There was an accident during a hunt. The tension surrounded the family, and before she knew- her sister was banned by her own mother. Mixed feelings kicked all over… even though Artis made a terrible mistake - it was not intentional… but their mother was right to scold her. Feeling conflicted with who to ¨¨side¨¨ with, Dere felt bitter. From that day, she looked at their Alpha with a different light.
Before Artis left, the two managed to exchange feathers.

EXPLOSION
During the events of Valgard, she did not care. Her life was going on as it did. The event did not matter.

Now
Past few months had become stressful, as she felt bitterness towards the alpha. Though, during the time- she became much closer with her brothers. Soon after, strangers started to appear. Causing distress.
