Okay, okay. Right.
I actually have no idea what this is. It was a birthday present for my brother, so I wanted to draw him something vaguely anime-styled. (He, being the nerd he is, is totally into that sort of thing. Probably why I like anime too.
) But I don't know who she is... any name ideas? 
I know, this probably has far too much shading to be considered anime styled (although, what with my scanner being the colour-eating titan it is, you can't actually see itΒ Β ), but I like it. I may keep this style for certain types of subject matter in future.
And, no, she's not old. In anime/manga, silver or white hair symbolises mysticism and magic. Just to clarify.

i love the shading and i would say that you did great with the proportion
humans can be hard to draw because of many reasons. the reasons i screw up with them is because of the proportion, hands, feet, and face
but i think you did absolutely lovely
