Poor, poor Hanzo. His own family really were rough to him in his younger years, weren't they. I'm not taking it as official headcanon (I don't tend to picture him with these scars most of the time, so I'm thinking of it as an alternate thing for the time being), but it seems very like something that would've happened to a younger version of himself. Seems the entire Shimada clan really were determined to brainwash him into doing their dirty work.

I felt like going back to pencils for a change. I needed a break from markers for some reason. (Although I do intend to use them for my next few artworks, don't worry!) Aside from the usual "the colours look weird because I'm left-handed and inevitably smudge my pencil lines", I'm happy with it.

...Although I seem to have made Hanzo's skin tone a little too pink. Unlike my marker selection, I don't seem to have a failsafe way of portraying the correct skin tone for Asian characters. I really need better pencils. *cries because Prismacolours are too expensive*

His hair is also too light. Ignore that. Like the skin tone thing, I don't have a very dark, almost black brown tone to use for drawing Hanzo. (This is really why I should stick to markers in future, isn't it)

Why can't I draw clothes. I hate folds with a passion

Now, off I must go to work my way through my massive Overwatch fan art backlog (And totally not procrastinate college assignments... ) AKA more Hanzo/McHanzo spam
