Description Introducing Anlīalūko (lit. the-people's-scratches), the writing system of the constructed language Anlīahéa (lit. the-people's-breath/soul).

This is a project that I'm working on for a friend. He wanted a conlang and runic conscript for use as a magickal language in a project that he's working on. I finished the conscript a while ago (around Oct/Nov 2017), but I thought I'd post a back-up here, before I lose all my notes again.    (That's why it's rushed, and looks kinda shoddy)

We went through some different languages together and he really liked the sound of Homeric Greek (audio sample used: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOvVWi… ), so the sound system is based off that (with a few additions).

I designed the runes via the process of acrophony: The first sound in the word for tree, kin, is k. Therefore in order to represent the sound k, you draw a tree - simple! Then I abstracted all of the acrophonic symbols to get the runes you see here. voila!

In the Romanisation, the acute (á) and grave (à) accents mark pitch, whereas the macron (ā) indicates a long vowel.

*I'm currently NOT taking any commissions for conlangs or conscripts. I want to have at least finished one project before robbing people of their hard-earned cash.  *
