I recall the Alien vs. Predator books (nothing to do with the piss poor films) pretty much explaining that the whole hunting thing was a way for Predators to get laid.
Female Predators were - as is oft the case in nature - a LOT bigger than the males... quite humorous, really.

Female Yautja are rarely seen, and with good reason-- they're physically stronger than the males and much, much meaner than they are. Another reason is that they aren't into the hunt as male Yautja are, but there are female hunters-- like this busty babe here!
