In my book, not much of a lesson since they get turn into fox girl a lot already. I would not even mind being an adorable fox girl even if do end up hitting on other women.

You know, I kind of wanted the MiB to have someone useful, but to be quite honest, I understand what he's getting at, wanting to give colleagues a lesson.

Never underestimate the burning hatred your IT staff has for mankind and coworkers.

Yup. It seems the only time IT is noticed is if something goes wrong, and it is their fault, so they get burned for it. But if everything's going right, then it's as if they don't exist, and thereby they get no promotions or raises. So it's a lose-lose... And yes, I know this from experience. I'm actually working in IT at the moment, and we've been been ignored and brushed aside whenever we try to have something added to our budget so all the other departments can have whatever they want, but when things go to hell, we get blamed because we didn't do things right, which further justifies their ignoring of our pleas for better equipment so things like that wouldn't have happened in the first place.

There's also office politics behind such things. (Again, from personal experience.) Be glad you don't have some "suit" realizing the influence they can have on the rest of a company by controlling the delivery of IT services.

Yeah. Sadly, my employer IS the government, so office politics is taken to the max.

It took me 25 years and an 'early out'. Also not allowing my pension plan to be converted into a 401k.

Ah. I'm not going to be able to last that long, mostly due to how my employer is simply not giving a damn about my department. And the worst part is that It's not exactly IT. It's a NOC, in the Server room, with a bunch of big Xerox printers too, complete with boxes and boxes of paper. So servers and printers all in an enclosed room where dust shouldn't be... My employer is very incompetent.
