I do love me some Daisy Ridley and this a both dramatic and solid likeness. The detail work on her staff is really good.

Thank you! I really like how the staff turned out. I’m not so happy about the hand though.

How did you manage to submit it as a print?
The highlights are really nicely rendered

It doesn't let fanart be submitted as a print usually, but yours is. I just wondered how it's possible.

Oh, I'm not sure. Perhaps it's the folder I submitted it to? They've allowed some in the past and taken some down afterwards. Not sure why they choose some and not others.

Wired. These days it automatically says fanart disables prints. Ah well.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Just curious.... I've never used graphite on watercolor hot pressed paper. Did you use water-soluble graphite? Or do you just like the texture better of using normal colored pencils on watercolor paper? This seems so interesting to me. ^_^

Thank you!
I used all the same tools. Regular Derwent pencils. I prefer this paper because it has the best contrast and is easily erased.

You're welcome! ^^
Oh that definitely makes sense. Thanks for sharing that! I'll have to try drawing on that paper sometime. I usually prefer bristol board, because it's just so smooth! ^_^

Thanks. A lot of mine are Bristol board but it's hard to get deep blacks.
